Early Life
Dan Bilzerian was born in Tampa Bay, Florida, on December 7th, 1980. Dan’s dad, Paul Bilzerian, was well-known private equity and corporate takeover expert throughout the decade of the 1980s.
Dan has Armenian descent from his father. When Paul Bilzerian was 36 years old, he already had an unselfish-made fortune of $40 million.
In 1988, however, Paul was arrested on security and tax fraud charges. Dan was just eight old when he was indicted. The older Bilzerian filed for bankruptcy in 2001 with $15,000 of assets and over $140 million of debt.
Dan’s mother’s name is Terri Steffen. Dan also has an older brother, Adam, a poker player. At the height of their fame, the family lived in the city’s largest house in Tampa, which was a 28,000-square-foot mansion with ten bedrooms.
