Adam Mitchel Lambert, an American singer-songwriter, was born on January 29, 1982. Leila Lambert and Eber Lambert were the parents of the singer. His mother was a dentist, and his father was a manager at Novatel Wireless. Niel Lambert was Adam Lambert’s brother.

Adam Lambert’s mother is a Romanian Jew with Romanian roots. His father is Norwegian. Lambert was raised in the faith of his mother. Neil is his younger brother. Shortly after he was born, his family moved to San Diego, California. Lambert began performing at the Metropolitan Educational Theatre network (now MET2) when he was nine.

After graduating high school in 2000, he attended California State University Fullerton. He left after only five weeks to go to Los Angeles to start his entertainment career.
Career
Lambert was 19 when he began performing on cruise ships for Anita Mann Productions. He worked there for ten years and performed in an Orange County, California, light opera. He was 21 years old when he became a manager and was hired to tour Europe with the musical Hair.
Lambert was a performer in The Ten Commandments: The Musical at the Kodak Theatre in 2004 and was hired as a manager for a European tour of the musical Hair. He ended his musical performances in 2008.
Along with Tommy Victor, Steve Sidelnyk, and Monte Pittman, Lambert was briefly the frontman of the indie rock band The Citizen Vein. Lambert also performed as a session musician and demo singer; Take One, released in 2009, contained a compilation of his 2005 recordings.
Since 2009, he has sold over 3 million albums and more than 5 million singles worldwide. Lambert’s strong vocal performances combine both traditional and contemporary genres. Lambert was awarded recognition in 2009 after he placed second on American Idol’s eighth season. Later that year, Lambert’s debut album, “For Your Entertainment,” debuted at number 3 on the US Billboard 200. Many songs were released from the album, including “Whataya want from me,” for which he was nominated for the Grammy category “Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.”
Lambert’s second studio album “Trespassing” was released in 2012. The album debuted at number 1 on the US Billboard 200, making it the first openly gay artist to do so. Lambert was the first openly gay musician to reach the top of the album charts.
His third album, The Original High, debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 in 2015. From 2014 to 2022, this collaboration saw them perform multiple international tours. Their debut album, Live Around the World, reached the top spot on the UK Albums Charts in October 2020.
Lambert founded the Feel Something Foundation in late 2019, the foundation for his ongoing work for LGBTQ+ rights and human rights. The organization focuses on supporting organizations and initiatives that directly or disproportionately impact the LGBTQ+ community. This includes those in education, the arts, and mental health.

After revealing his sexual orientation online during American Idol’s initial competition, Adam Lambert spoke out in a Rolling Stone interview. From November 2010 to April 2013, he dated Sauli Koskinen, a Finnish entertainment reporter, and reality TV star. He later revealed that they had parted. Lambert and model Javi Costa Polo were romantically involved from March to November this year. Lambert got his first tattoo at the age of 27. He has kept a collection of images and designs since then as a reminder of important events and themes in life. Lambert got his first tattoo, the Eye of Horus, on his wrist, just before American Idol. He has since added many more tattoos to his torso and limbs. He has been inked by Roxx, Daniel Meyer, Maxime Plescia Buchi, and many other tattoo artists.
