Adam Mitchel Lambert, an American singer-songwriter, was born on January 29, 1982. Leila Lambert and Eber Lambert were the parents of the singer. His mother was a dentist, and his father was a manager at Novatel Wireless. Niel Lambert was Adam Lambert’s brother.

Adam Lambert’s mother is a Romanian Jew with Romanian roots. His father is Norwegian. Lambert was raised in the faith of his mother. Neil is his younger brother. Shortly after he was born, his family moved to San Diego, California. Lambert began performing at the Metropolitan Educational Theatre network (now MET2) when he was nine.
Lambert began receiving intensive singing and acting training as he moved through Mesa Verde Middle School, then Mount Carmel High School. He continued performing with MET2 and what would become the Broadway Bound Youth Theatre Foundation.
He was active in theater and choir and sang in the school’s jazz band. Lambert participated in regional Air Bands contests. He also appeared in professional plays at The Starlight, and The Lyceum, among others, such as Hello, Dolly! Camelot, Grease, Grease, Chess, Peter Pan, and The Music Man.
After graduating high school in 2000, he attended California State University Fullerton. He left after only five weeks to go to Los Angeles to start his entertainment career.
Lambert was 19 when he began performing on cruise ships for Anita Mann Productions. He worked there for ten years and performed in an Orange County, California, light opera. He was 21 years old when he became a manager and was hired to tour Europe with the musical Hair.
Lambert was a performer in The Ten Commandments: The Musical at the Kodak Theatre in 2004 and was hired as a manager for a European tour of the musical Hair. He ended his musical performances in 2008.

Lambert founded the Feel Something Foundation in late 2019, the foundation for his ongoing work for LGBTQ+ rights and human rights. The organization focuses on supporting organizations and initiatives that directly or disproportionately impact the LGBTQ+ community. This includes those in education, the arts, and mental health.
After revealing his sexual orientation online during American Idol’s initial competition, Adam Lambert spoke out in a Rolling Stone interview. From November 2010 to April 2013, he dated Sauli Koskinen, a Finnish entertainment reporter, and reality TV star. He later revealed that they had parted. Lambert and model Javi Costa Polo were romantically involved from March to November this year. Lambert got his first tattoo at the age of 27. He has kept a collection of images and designs since then as a reminder of important events and themes in life. Lambert got his first tattoo, the Eye of Horus, on his wrist, just before American Idol. He has since added many more tattoos to his torso and limbs.
