A well-known Nigerian musician, singer, and instrumentalist, Harrison Tare Okiri, better known by his stage name Harrysong has been detained and held at Lagos State Police Command. Lagos State Police Command.
The singer was detained on Tuesday morning at Lagos Airport after arriving in Nigeria, following a petition sent by a Nigerian musician and producer-director Soso Soberekon to the Inspector General of Police IGP Usman Baba-Alkali.

Soberekon stated, “As a matter of fact, I’m always thinking about my business, keep in my line of sight and make people smile. It’s extremely regrettable that Harrysong has made such a false, reckless, and defamatory comment.”
The Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed that the Singer (Harrysong) is currently in the custody of the police.
He claimed that the artist was detained at the Lagos Airport as he landed from America.
