Monthly Video Production Budget
MrBeast has stated that he spends the amount he earns each month on videos. It’s a fair comparison when you consider that in some videos he’s giving the equivalent of one million dollars.
In August 2020, he splurged at a minimum of $3 million on production costs, salaries for staff rent, and many other things.
Monthly Earnings
As previously mentioned, MrBeast earns at least $3 million monthly from YouTube views. For instance, in March 2022, MrBeast added 54 new videos on thirteen channels.
The 54 videos generated 283 million views in total. To figure out how much money could have been generated, let’s first acknowledge it is MrBeast has three main sources of revenue:
- Ad revenue
- Sponsorships
- Merchandise
Attending to every source:
Ad Revenue
Video advertisements fetch wildly various CPMs across different countries. Ads for videos within the US and Canada are significantly higher than an advertisement views in Brazil.
But, it’s reasonable to assume that a typical online video CPM is $5.This is $5 per 1,000 views, which is net to MrBeast. At 283 million views, this is roughly $1.4 million in net profits.
Sponsorships
It was reported before that MrBeast is charged one million dollars per month for the privilege to be the main patron of his main video page. For instance, in March the sponsor was Credit bureau Experian.
It seems plausible that with sponsorships through Beast’s different channels Beast will bring in an additional $1 million at a minimum, for the amount of 2 million dollars.
Merchandise
AKA the holy grail of secrets. In the year that MrBeast earned about $54 million, around half of that came from merchandise sales according to different reports. The total came to $2.25 million per month. We’ll round that down to $2 million to be safe.
Compiling these three sources of revenue and we will get:
1.4 + 2+2 equals $5.4 Million
This is equivalent to earning $174,193 each day of March.
Team Trees
In October, Jimmy and a former NASA engineer Mark Rober launched a fundraising contest named #TeamTrees. They aim to fundraise $20m for the Arbor Day Foundation within three months.
They exceeded the $20 million mark in only two months. At this time, the program had raised over $23million and installed more than 7 million new trees.
If they meet their target of planting 20 million new trees this project has eliminated approximately 1.6 million tonnes of carbon dioxide from the air and removed 116 000 tons of air pollution caused by chemicals.
