Kunle was almost killed in a near-death accident in late 2016. He was celebrating with a friend and met a fan who was excited to meet him. Kunle wrote on Instagram, “While we were greeting one another, ‘the accident’ occurred.” He explained further:

“On November 7 2016, I was in an accident. I stopped to celebrate a friend’s birthday while on my way to work. I didn’t intend to stay so long, just wanted to get in and go (That was my plan). Then I met this fan.

“(well, I was also energetic as usual) but while we were greeting one another, “the Accident” occurred. He was carrying a broken glass, which ripped into my flesh and left me bleeding profusely. I lost consciousness. This is all I can remember.”

He was thankful to be alive to tell his story. It could have been worse, we all know.
