Wizkid’s Career Starts and Early Life
Wizkid, a Nigerian musician, hails from Surulere in Lagos State. He grew up around females. Wizkid was raised in a family of 12 female siblings.
Ayodeji Balogun, also known as Wizkid, started his music career at the tender age of 11.
Surprisingly though, Ayodeji Balogun was not famous before he discovered Starboy. He called himself Lil Prinz and became a starboy in 2006.
In an interview with Adesope from Factory 78 T.V., the superstar revealed some details about his life. He said he started a group called Glorious Five with a friend right inside the church. Later, it was revealed that the group had released an album.
Glorious Five did not reach the top after their debut album was released. They eventually disbanded and stopped functioning.

Wizkid Dances With Drake and Other
On April 5, 2016, the superstar became the first Nigerian artist to appear on Billboard’s Twitter Charts. This was possible thanks to Drake’s guest feature on Drake’s afrobeat track “One Dance.”
The song reached number one on Billboard’s Hot 100 charts, a position that O.N.E. Dance could maintain for 10 consecutive weeks.
